Seeking to be faithful to the call to be "a house of prayer for all nations" [Mark 11:17], we are growing more and more in the gift of communicating with our Lord. In addition to prayer teams and intercessory prayer groups, we incorporate prayer into every facet of our church life. This includes making prayer a central part of our worship services. The first Tuesday of each month we take part in the Lord's Watch, a 24-hour prayer chain for renewal and revival in our community. The elders are available for prayer at 7:00 PM the same day. Each Wednesday at 7:00 AM, is an opportunity for congregational prayer. The River, a time of soaking in the Lord's Presence is held the 4th Sunday of each month at 6:30 PM. The small classroom upstairs has now been designated and decorated as a "Prayer Room" open during church hours. We also host The Walk of Encounter, a 24-hour time of contemplative prayer, 2-3 times a year.
